I had known since I was a little girl that I would get married. It wasn’t this dream or fantasy of mine; I just knew that I was created to be a wife. I love Jacob, but that’s not the sole reason why I married him. I married him because he’s my soulmate, and I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that God had created and designed us to be together. Something just clicks when you meet the person you are supposed to spend the rest of your life with. It’s strange, but everything makes sense, despite it being illogical or irrational. That’s how it was with us. Marriage isn’t a fairytale as much as it is this deep knowing in every fiber of your being that this is where you’re supposed to be and exactly who you’re supposed to be with. x
